And so it all begins again. Another amazing opportunity with Goethe, the German Cultural Institute, to create 6 new shows for early year audiences.

This time a meeting between 17 Magnet Theatre Trainees from South Africa and 6 African delegates from Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique and Uganda. The first day was mainly around 'Introductions'. Where everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves, sharing who they were and what brought them to to Magnet Theatre. Then everyone had the opportunity to share their expectations for this Goethe Early Years Incubator Project, what they hoped to achieve or to learn from being involved in the experience. The below were a few expectations shared:

- Learning new performance based skills, developing a bag of performance tools

- Learning about early years work

- Bringing together different skills from different participants

- Learning to work with and manage young audiences

- Understanding the mindset of 3, 4 and 5 year olds

- Letting go of control and developing tolerence to trust the process

- Open up to allow for honesty

The overall expectation seemed to revolve around the idea of learning. And learning should "start from a place of not knowing"stated Jennie Reznek, one of the Artistic Directors of Magnet Theatre. She then went on to express how "it's always wonderful to start a new process". And with this, a new process begins...
